New Book Claims Jill Biden Had Some Beef With Kamala Harris Ahead Of The Election

President Joe Biden and his wife, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, have had a long and happy marriage. However, in a new book by authors Darlene Superville and Julie Pace titled “Jill: A Biography of the First Lady,” it appears as though Jill made her husband fight for that role (via Vanity Fair). According to Superville and Pace, Jill allegedly made President Biden pop the question five times before she agreed to walk down the aisle with him.
From there on, though, Dr. Biden took on the role of supporting wife, and doting stepmother to his children, Hunter, Beau, and Ashley. Now, she’s found herself in the position of the First Lady of the United States, taking on the responsibilities accompanying this role with ease. Dr. Biden also played a major role on the campaign trail when Joe was running for president in 2020 — she often conducted rallies and spoke with voters during this time (per the Orlando Sentinel). It seemed from the beginning that Jill was on-board completely with her husband’s presidential run, but now it appears as though there may have been some conflict along the way — with Kamala Harris in particular.

Regardless of how Harris treated Biden in the primary elections, it was clear to the Biden team that she would be their best bet in the election. Whatever went down between them — along with Jill’s initial hesitation about the decision — seems to have been forgotten once everyone moved into the White House.
