Mueller finally took control of her life by traveling to Houston, Texas, to meet with surgeon and life-changer Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, aka Dr. Now, who immediately put her on his own strict diet and exercise plan, enabling the reality star to shed at least 100 pounds so she could qualify for weight loss surgery (via In Touch Weekly). Mueller struggled considerably, even gaining at one stage.
This ultimately led Dr. Now to admit Mueller into the hospital, so her eating habits could be monitored much more closely. This made all the difference.
